Pompeyo 951/6 SEXED Female

POMPEYO 951/6 (ABBA Name #SJYSCSPR 951/6 IA) was crowned the XXII Exposición Nacional de Ganado Brahman Reserve Adulto Champion Gray Bull in Tampico, Mexico in March of 2019. He followed this great honor with winning the top title in Mexico, the LVI Nacional de Cebu GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP of the BRAHMAN breed. That was the last show he competed  in and it was  held in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, México. Winning the GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP of the breed was the best way for a Senior bull to end their show career before they are put to “work” out in the pasture. Shortly after POMPEYO 951/6 won the ultimate honor in the show arena, Rio Ranch imported him from Mexico to the USA. Marco Barba of  GANADERIA SAN JOSE is the original breeder and is well known in the Brahman breed in Mexico for breeding some of the very best Brahman cattle for both performance in the pasture, as well as the show arena. This heavily muscled bull has all the power and meat that you could want in a Brahman herd sire.

POMPEYO 951/6 is at the top of the American Brahman Breed EPD’s for such important traits as Calving Ease Direct, Yearling Weight, Carcass Weight, Rib Eye Area, Marbling and Fat Thickness.

MR. V8 520/7 is the sire of POMPEYO 951/6 and was exported to Mexico by GANADERIA SAN JOSE after a successful show career in the USA. He is at the top percentage of the American Brahman Breed EPD’s for the following traits: Weaning Weight 1%, Yearling Weight 1%, Total Maternal 3%, Carcass Weight 3%, Rib Eye Area 4%, and Bull Index 5%

She carries the name CRIADERO LASTRA as she was bred by none other than Cesar Lastra of CRIADERO LASTRA. Cesar is one of the top breeders in Mexico and his females are known to be some of the very best in Mexico.
